Reports now say an arrest was made. Another one contradicted it. Perhaps one is imminent.
What's happening is reminiscent of post-9/11 anthrax attacks. Five people died. Seventeen others were infected.

Domestic terrorism was charged. Bio-weapons expert Steven Hatfill was wrongfully charged. Later he was exonerated.
Bruce Edwards Ivins became a key suspect. No evidence linked him to the incidents. In July 2008, he overdosed and died. He did so after learning criminal charges were likely. None were filed. Other lives were disrupted. Humanity paid a big price.
