Move Over, Grover

 

Although such a pledge would benefit the voters by the very nature of its honesty and commitment, it would not be valid if it were not adopted through normal channels and enforceable by the Justice Department.  Perhaps on a slow day the authenticity of the no-tax pledge could be researched and the practice of accepting any old piece of paper as law would garner closer scrutiny in the future.
