I pledge to fore go spending any of my time raising funds for reelection.
I pledge to listen and act accordingly to the voices of my constituents.
I pledge to never bend to the ever-convincing voices of those well-funded lobbyists whose interests are self-indulgent in their search for legislation benefiting their wealthy sponsors and patrons.
I pledge I will not be swayed by outside interferences or influences attempting to buy my support.
I am stating, by signing this pledge in good faith, that these are my sole positions which cannot be compromised in any way by others.
The office that I hold is a privilege and it is with the greatest honor that I serve the good folks back home.
