PLUTO AND PERSEPHONE
The pressure of elevated Saturn in Hillary's chart recalls the legend of her sociopathic drill-sergeant father, whom she adored and could never satisfy. This is the astrological equivalent of the psychological 'identification with the aggressor' used to explain her pronounced hawkishness. Even without such a father, as a female Scorpio, the sign ruled by the underworld's Pluto, she is inclined to the role of Persephone, willingly or not, cyclically exploited by male authority. Any hawkish tendency aligned to the Saturn/father complex is, I'm afraid, appallingly augmented by the close-by exact conjunction of the co-rulers of Scorpio: blood-and-iron Mars and nuclear Pluto. Along with malefic Saturn, this grim, bellicose trinity is found aptly in her ninth house of foreign affairs, strongly influencing the entire chart.
There can be no doubt that if president, she would be a war president. However, under the severe Neptunian pressures of the next six months one detects more of scandal than of triumph.
Salon just posted a distressing compilation of Clinton coughing on camera during which we caught an intimate glimpse behind the spokesperson role, of her vulnerability and her terror of showing weakness. She has lived to serve the nom du pere at some sacrifice of her own safety, we sense in the terror of her cough.
JAMES COMEY, DIRECTOR, FBI
May we not we wonder why Obama placed a former prosecutor, a famously principled and independent, Republican deputy attorney-general to George Bush, a man with known reasons to hate the Clintons . . . can we wonder why Obama appointed this particular individual to head his national law enforcement agency? I do. Obama fought hard against Hillary. We understand there was no love lost between them. I surmise that she demanded to be appointed Secretary of State and Obama acquiesced because such is the strength of the Clinton System that she could probably prevent him from getting much of anything done. She publically contradicted him on policy, bullied him into disastrous military engagements, made a mockery of his peace prize. I suspect that Obama put Comey at the helm of the FBI with the belief that if anyone could take down the Clinton System it might be Comey. It is his duty is to vet presidential candidates, to protect the Presidency, not any particular president. Therefore his ten-year appointment overlaps adminisrations. Unfortunately Director Comey undergoes heavy astrological weather this year; I do not envy his transits. There is good reason to hear those who expect his resignation over this affair.
