Burl conceived this article.
Conception is a feminine function, if I'm not mistaken. Yes, I know, it takes two to tango. Yet, who carries the fetus for nine months, who gives birth to that fetus, and who breast-feeds and does most of the care of that child as she grows up?
Who keeps changing this writing!? "Oh, good lord, that line appears 'crappy! I need to clean up that mess!" Sound like a diapering event?
Here I'm not discounting the hard work of dads. Yet, lets face it guys, we don't carry a 3 to 10 pound baby in us for 9+ months. Could you imagine popping something out so huge from what is a relatively small area! I don't think the way we men are built would allow us to give birth. Could you imagine trying to give birth to a 7- pound baby from that small pinpoint opening in the male genitals? Ok! Let's just let the ladies take care of that aspect of life!
Men also have feminine functions just as women have masculine. This works on two primary domains, noun and verb. Thus, Burl conceived this article, which is a female function. His wife, Meredith, sparked this article when she mentioned my "God is a Verb" article (http://www.opednews.com/articles/Can-a-Verb-Based-Language-by-Burl-Hall-Corporations_God_Language_Love-150404-907.html).
My wife's function was seminal or fathering to the conception of this article. My function was feminine in that I operated in the conception and birth of these words. I also nursed it via editing. And, yes, I have cleaned up a couple of messes. Being a reader who perhaps writes, you can understand this changing the mess we just created.
Can you see through this example how uniting a verb-based language would be? Through a verb based language, could we experience less alienation and more of a sense of belonging. If you were looking into the eyes of the "opposite" sex, then would you see yourself mirrored in that person? Wouldn't you be more able to see your own powers in your opposite?
Religion as an organized institution is not to be believed in anymore. If there is a wizard on stage telling you how to behave: Send him sailing in his hot-aired balloon. (Get the metaphor, fun, isn't it?)
Religion (with small "r") needs to die while Religion needs to be resurrected from the grave. Religion as practiced is more of an ideology. So, are we Christian, Buddhist, Baptist, Leftist, Rightest, etc?
None of these are religion in accord to the definition! This divisiveness is a lie. Religion means to bind together. Binding together is not about people of a certain ideology getting together at a temple or church. Binding together is to experience one's brother/sisterhood to all, human and beyond human.
By focusing on God as Verb, and masculinity and femininity as verbs, we are opened up to seeing those powers in operation throughout the universe, the world and within ourselves.
A woman's words can be seminal to a conception. And a man can conceive new life from within his imagination. The Sun's rays enter into the soils of the Earth and a seed takes form as a flower. This is all the dance of Yin and Yang. This IS THE WAY! This dance is made visible via the uncovering language of metaphor. And, metaphor is a verb-based language.
The entire universe makes love.
Can you see how this may be the beginning to the end of alienation for those open to exploring it? Now, you can look at your genitals and see the marvelous work of Nature/God/Self. Yes, your most "private" parts speak to the Way!
Tao is the intercourse of Yin and Yang. This process is immanent in everything we do. It is also spoken to in Genesis 1:27:
