Why are we so alienated against the Self? Why are we destroying Nature, which has the dual meaning of "the wild" and "Essence." Why do we allow our children to sit in standardized classrooms and be taught to the test?
What in your child is being crucified by this new Rome filled with Christians?

Or if you'd rather, "judge not lest ye be judged." This commandment speaks volumes to our alienation. What are we doing if not projecting our sickness onto others? Thus, Bush refers to the opposition in the Gulf Wars as Terrorists where as he calls his technique, "Shock and Awe."
Ok, put your child next to you. Now listen to the bombs drop. Are you and your child "shocked and awed" or are you "terrorized?"
What is the essence of the powers that advocate for this terrorism? And, why?
Can we begin to see the holographic pattern of dumbing down our children (or inhibiting creative / out of the box thinking) through media, standardized education, and corporate ruled classrooms.
In a past article regarding verb-based languages (http://www.opednews.com/articles/Can-a-Verb-Based-Language-by-Burl-Hall-Corporations_God_Language_Love-150404-907.html), I began to muse on the ancient idea of God being more a verb than noun. A verb is more of a process than a product. It also speaks to the language of metaphor, which is a language that connects.
In modern spiritual teachings, the Tao Te Ching is one source to lead us into a verb-based understanding of the world. The Tao is NOT a man or woman on high. Rather He/She IS Cosmic Process. This Tao is called the "Way." It's not a suggestion of a way you should follow. If you give a thumbs up or down doesn't matter. You are still making a decision founded in the Way.
Verb based language is also highly metaphorical.
Epistemologist Gregory Baetson defines metaphor as a language that connects (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gregory_Bateson).
