The Whistleblower Summit & Film Festival is an award-winning annual event held in Washington, D.C., presented by ACORN 8 in partnership with African American Women in Cinema (AAWIC), National Association to Stop Guardianship Abuse (NASGA) and the Justice Integrity Project (JIP). The festival honors whistleblowers and the advocates, journalists, and filmmakers who tell their stories, and it hosts National Whistleblower Appreciation Day programming each year on Capitol Hill and at the National Press Club.
