Finally, Reid stood up to Bush.  His action is one small thing to be thankful for this pre-Thanksgiving weekend or on Thursday we'd all be choking down our turkey and pumpkin pie, washed down with liberal, if not progressive, glasses of libations.

Reid would be well-advised to hold the Senate in pro forma non-stopeum sessions until January 20, 2009.  Maybe January 21, just to be sure.
