Then we have the next real threat, the two party system that is no longer a two party system. Ralph Nader made a statement I won?t soon forget when he said ?We do not need a three party system, we only need two? It is clear that this is hard to find right now.

Under this democracy we see Big Business getting bigger with more input into what we are doing than ever before. They are an integral part of our government and no law will be passed that will place a citizen above corporation. We will always pay our fair share of taxes, the government will make sure of the, however how many corporations even bother to pay taxes at all. We have to pick up their slack on top of the inflated prices of their goods, and then give them tax returns on top of that. Go figure.

Now that I understand Democracy a little better, I can well understand why Iraqi people would have a problem with it. I damned sure do.

I could go into how a Man by the name of Hugo Chavez is handling his Country and haw he has been taking from the rich and pampered and giving to the poor indigent people. How the top 10% that do not work is screaming bloody murder because the 80-90% of the poor Do Want To Work. This should sound familiar. Here in a country where the poor are hidden in fact they even refuse to mention them, about like the lepers of old, the untouchables.

I am not so much a writer as a story teller. I have something on my mind and I want to find out about it I go looking for an answer. I come from the time when I was able to raise a family of four on what I made myself, as did my father and as did his father, Now it takes the whole family working two or three jobs to simply keep their heads above water.

If I am wrong in what I write don?t try and put me on the defensive, I don?t have to prove I am right. You have to prove I am wrong. That is one of the problems anymore, everyone is being put on the defensive, every one is supposed to prove their own existence or make apologies for some imagined slight. Bullshit! Show me.

Nuff said?for now.

I am closing in on 70 years. I write because I am forced to do so by the times. It being my way of trying to do something constructive. I write from the heart and as I believe things to be. If you think I am wrong do not ask me to prove myself, it (more...)
