THE SIGNIFICANCE OF MYTHOLOGY
Not until late centuries did reflective minds see in mythology
any of the significance that we have come to see in it.
The Italian philosopher, GIOVANNI BATTISTA (1668-1744), from napoly is a historian, and jurist. Of the seventeenth century,
He is famous for his (verum factum) “concept of truth as an act”. His idea is that, history is made by humans, and humans are able to fully understand it, just like mathematics, which is product of human intelect; he found out that the heroes of the mythology such as Hercules, whose physical make up could move the mountains, and Lycurgus and Romulus, the law-givers, who in a generation accomplished the long work of centuries ;
It is because When people had a need for men-like gods they created them of the” collective mind” with such characters; by combining in an individual, the ideas of a whole cycle of centuries of many different individuals .therefore mythology reflect ideas, realism, concepts, but they only make sense if it is put in a framed of the fantastic .
Therefore,: Every myth has Realism in it, and every “ real” historical account has falsehood in it and If you have to get the truth out of it you have to put it through a cretin filter, which is made up of all your faculties where the impurities will filter through and the truth will be understood .

Greek Myths are all that’s left of the ancient Greek religion. The people of what settled in Greece and Asia Minor; they had a belief in a group of gods that came to be known as The Olympians since they dwelt at mount Olympus.
The Olympians are basically group of 12 gods .

The Olympians were the second-generation gods who ruled after the overthrow of the Titans
The Titans, are the first generation of gods or they are called the Elder gods, ruled heaven and earth, even before creation; the ruler of the Titans was Cronus who was de-throned by his son Zeus. Most of the Titans fought with Cronus against Zeus and were punished by being banished to Tartarus. a place deep beneath even the underworld The underworld is hidden in the earth. During their rule the Titans were associated with the various planets.

There is this one goddess that is very special and relevant to our topic, her name was ALATHEIA (Truth) she was the female personification of truth. Daughter of Zeus her Roman counter part is: Veritas
In the next quotations substitute the word (Truth) instead of the word Altheia.!

“Alatheia daughter of Zeus who art the beginning of great virtue, keep my good-faith from stumbling against rough falsehood.” Pindar page 205
They say “ A wayfaring man, traveling in the desert, met a woman standing alone and terribly dejected. He inquired of her, 'Who art thou?' 'My name is Alatheia ' she replied. 'And for what cause,' he asked, 'have you left the city to dwell alone here in the wilderness?' She answered, 'Because in former times, falsehood was with few, but is now with all men."

Now we know that Alatheia is not an actual woman but rather a form of how people and societies as a whole conceptualize and understand the truth; of course the truth is associated with the gods

I was reading this caption from the Egyptian gods about a letter that was sent to the GOD Ra from the GOD Horus and in plain words he was telling the Ennead: Ennead is a Greek for the number 9 and it is a term used when speaking a collection of gods, demigods, or deities such as Atum, Tefnut, shue, nut, jeb, Osiris, Isis, nephtyys, Seth, And Horus
Pesdjet is the Egyptian equivalence, and they denotes any collection of these Deities; so the ennead or Pesdjet in the temple of Karnack consisting of nine deities, and in the temple of Abidos there are seven;
Thus Horus threatens: Unless they give him a just judgment or he will have his revenge send savage faced messengers to fetch them down into his realm of shades, for he is more powerful than they all.
The letter of Horus read like this:
“Exceeding God is all that thou hast done, thou inventor of the Ennead in very truth, whilst Justice hath been suffered to sink within the nether world. But look thou at the matter thyself also! As for you with this land in which I am, it is full of savage faced messengers, and they fear not any God or any goddess. I will cause them to go forth and they shall fetch the heart of whosever doeth wicked deeds, and they shall be here with me. Moreover, what significant is that I be resting here in the west, whilst ye are without, all of you? Behold they have invented falsehoods in the very truth. is it not so that when Ptah, it’s the great, south of his wall, the lord of a Ankh-tauy, made the sky, did he not speak unto the stars which are in it: ye shall go to rest in the west every night in the place where King Osiris is .And after the gods, nobles and Plebeians shall go to rest also in the place where thou art the………….”
At this point it hit me; how powerful the deliverance of such a massage truly is, … only gods or universal laws could have uttered words , and demanded with such absoluteness……………. Because the gods in ancient Egypt resembles a verity of /or a combination of absolute laws or eternal laws
We overcome the lower laws, by applying still higher ones --and in this way only. But we cannot escape Law or rise above it entirely. Nothing but THE ALL can escape Law --and that because THE ALL is LAW itself, from which all Laws emerge....
