These modern day robber barons are gutting the core of our nation and destroying the middle class in the process. They are hallowing out the government and no one is stopping them.
The shock of September 11th dramatically paralyzed this nation. We allowed a dramatic increase in executive power, gave our civil liberties away and voluntarily put local communities under surveillance. This same power was used to turn the war on terror into a new economic model destroying the very core of our government in the process.
Time to take our country back – and next time there is a shock – pay close attention to what our governmental leaders are doing – the Robber Barons are spending our collective future. It should be illegal to profit during times of disaster and national shock. These agreements should all be reviewed and rescinded. Unfair profiteering during periods of national disaster and shock should be repaid to the people.
