From Idealism to This! A Baby-Boomer Laments How the Future Ain't What it Used to Be

It's been a steep downhill slide from those old youthful idealistic expectations to this Bushite atrocity of a government. Very far downhill indeed. But that old idealism is not dead, and I'm ready --like the heroes on which my generation was brought up-- to fight our way back up to the humane, the decent and, someday, the ideal!
