With foreboding

But also...

We 'steel our nerves'
'Gird our loins'
And pick up the tools...

That are the only weapons
For warriors of peace:

Our voices
Our words
Our minds
Ours hearts
Our souls

And finally...

Our bodies

And somehow...

Without knowing
The full meaning
Of what is to come

We do know
That in some amazing way
We have already won
