“Judge Ziegler will undoubtedly be subjected to very serious disciplinary action…The final decision on that discipline will be rendered by our Supreme Court. If we permit Judge Ziegler to be elected to the Supreme Court, I fear the reputation of that court and Wisconsin justice will be tainted and made a laughingstock for the whole country to see.”
