And that has been the theme for Kathie and for me ever since. If we want something to happen, we start it here. That's what we did with running a Democrat for congress, nobody else was doing it, so we started it. That's all it takes, meet some people, collect some addresses, and start whatever you want to happen right where you are.

Bio: Kathie and I are retired teachers in our late 60's. We started political activity without training. Excellent training is available from DFA and Camp Wellstone, but the main item is Just Do It. To keep this story from rambling on too long, we omitted the heroic deeds of others whose role in the process is beyond what Kathie and I have done. We send our thanks and apologies to them for leaving them out of this story.
