Disasters are not so dangerous if you are prepared. We have heard roumors that the American Electric grid may be shut down soon. That is just a rumour, but these things have a way of coming true over the past couple of years. And if they go down, we go down...

-Insulation. plastic is ok. Cardboard boxes are better. (Ask the homeless, they know) Flattened boxes can be stored under beds.
