US citizens are utterly helpless before the power of the best science money can buy. One may be talking to beautiful and well educated people here in Washington or in New York, people whose opinions and expertise in their own areas of study should certainly never be despised, when suddenly you will hear from their lips the mantra that Chavez is a dictator; he means the overthrow of all democracy in Latin America.
This is what Juan Forero and the rest of them at the New York Times have told them. Vainly do you suggest that the Times, via its reporter Judith Miller was also complicitous in the Iraq disaster.
