Message Paul o'Dowd

The good news is that this awareness gives us a clear target in our efforts to return the world to sanity; We need to sanitize and insulate leadership roles from contamination by this corrosive personality disorder.

I really believe we can do this with laws that already exist. How? We have a well established body of laws that already exclude certain physical and psychological conditions from various roles and occupations. These laws are necessary to protect the public from the predictable harm that would result from individuals with particular disabilities holding certain positions. This is why we don't have blind airline pilots or narcoleptic forklift drivers.

If we don't let blind people fly airliners, why do we let diagnosable psychopaths run corporations and countries?

This needs to be the big discussion that we as a society are having. Until we fix this very real dynamic, every cause we are fighting for is nothing more than sticking yet another bandage on the wounds these monsters inevitably inflict on the systems and people they seek to control.

Fix the malignancy of psychopathic leadership and we fix everything.

With good, morally guided leadership, the solutions to most of the big problems we face will materialize organically.

We have the resources and the know-how to solve most of our great challenges as a society and as a species. We have the will to fix things, almost everyone on Earth wants these problems solved, what we lack is the caliber of leadership to do so.
