Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) -- political appointees hid pre 9/11 information, covered-up security breaches, and hid FBI failures to protect child sex crime victims, per FBI, FBI1, contractor whistleblowers.

National Aeronautics and Space Administration's (NASA) -- political appointees used contractors to covertly design the space shuttle for military purposes, per an NASA whistleblower, Richard C. Cook, in his book "Challenger Revealed."

Department of Defense (DOD)/non DOD accounting/auditing offices - political appointees flooded the bureaucracy with the unqualified people (4th paragraph, bullet 3) needed to procure multibillions in deficient AICPA, financial software, and management consulting firms) services to "prevent" the audit trails identifying how/where the taxpayer's money was spent, per accountant and auditor whistleblowers.

Federal Drug Administration (FDA) -- political appointees released unsafe drugs/ medical devices to the public, per FDA, FDA1, FDA2, FDA3 whistleblowers.

National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) -- political appointees harassed/retaliated against an NIEHS whistleblower for publicly voicing his concerns about the chemical industry.

National Institute of Health (NIH) -- political appointees harassed/retaliated against an NIH whistleblower for questioning his agency's failure to protect the safety of its volunteers involving AIDS research.

Health and Human Services (HHS) -- political appointees oversee bogus (faith-based) safety net programs that have nothing to do with protecting disadvantaged people and everything to do with enriching corrupt politicians/corporations, complements of the American taxpayer, per HHS, HHS1 whistleblowers.

Department of Energy (DOE) - Reagan/George H. W. Bush-era political appointees flooded DOE with the unqualified electrical engineers (4th paragraph, bullet 3) needed to rubberstamp George W. Bush's corporate-dominant energy policies, as evidenced by Dick Cheney's secret corporate energy meetings.

Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) -- The SEC's political appointees: (1) destroyed the SEC's documentation against their former corporate bosses, and (2) recreated (a still hidden) Enron-style market economy crisis since the SEC no longer has qualified GS level professional auditors to audit corporate financial statements.

Department of Education (DOE)-- DOE's failed Common Core testing regimens highlight the need to get politicians out of the business of "managing" teachers (and all public sector employees), as noted in the article "Rage against the Common Core" by professor David L. Kirp.

Veterans Administration (VA) -- political appointees used partisan/unqualified civil servants to treat veterans as guinea pigs to create today's VA management crisis.

Army Corps of Engineers (ACE) -- political appointees harassed/demoted an ACE whistleblower for questioning the plump contracts awarded to vice president Dick Cheney's Halliburton corporation during the Iraq war.

Congress - took nepotism to a new low by hiring members of their own families to fill their office's House/Senate staff positions, per a 60 Minutes 2014 program.

Congress -- rewrote Abraham Lincoln's False Claims Act and changed that law from prosecuting criminals for selling shoddy goods/services to the government to now protecting public/corporate sector criminals from prosecution for that same crime.

Justice Department -- gives free "get out of jail" passes to political/corporate criminals within all 3 government branches for hiding egregious levels of taxpayer waste, undermining the U.S. Constitution, and making a mockery of the government's own laws, like Congress' rewrite of the False Claims Act.
