"... is used to treat depression and generalized anxiety disorder (GAD; excessive worry and tension that disrupts daily life and lasts for 6 months or longer). Duloxetine is also used to treat pain and tingling caused by diabetic neuropathy (damage to nerves that can develop in people who have diabetes)"
With colorful backgrounds and people living life in the "happy" lane, this product is promoted with a strong background voice telling the audience of all the advantages of using this product. The background of soothing music becomes a little bit louder as the little voice talks of the "possible" side effects. "Ask your doctor if ___ is right for you".
Now consider yourself as either depressed (who isn't ?) or in some kind of pain. You want relief, right ? But would you take something that has been known to cause :
Severe allergic reactions (rash; hives; itching; difficulty breathing; tightness in the chest; swelling of the mouth, face, lips, or tongue; unusual hoarseness); . bizarre behavior; bloody or black, tarry stools; blurred vision; confusion; dark urine; decreased concentration; decreased coordination; excessive sweating; fainting; fast or irregular heartbeat; fever or chills; hallucinations; memory loss; mouth sores or ulcers; new or worsening mental or mood changes (eg, aggressiveness, agitation, anxiety, depression, hostility, impulsiveness, irritability, panic attacks, restlessness); pale stools; red, swollen, blistered, or peeling skin; ringing in the ears; . seizures; severe or persistent dizziness or headache; severe or persistent nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea; severe or persistent tiredness or weakness; severe or persistent trouble sleeping; sluggishness; stiff muscles; stomach pain; suicidal thoughts or attempts; tremor; trouble urinating or change in the amount of urine produced; unusual bruising or bleeding; unusual weakness; vomit that looks like coffee grounds; yellowing of the skin or eyes.
The little voice giving the disclaimer quietly admits that some side effects have resulted in death.
Politicians play the same gambit. They paint a beautiful picture of how they will make your life better. They will turn your attention to something else if you should question the side-effects of their ideologies. So remember this when you vote in November; or choose not to vote --the side effects may be deadly.
Vote, -or- don't vote at all, and allow the politicians to continue poisoning the drinking water with fluoride (a known neurotoxin), destroying the environment with special-interest loopholes, avoiding accountability and transparency as they pad their pockets with your tax dollars and reward their friends with no-bid contracts. They will continue to use propaganda to convince the tax paying public that private (for-profit) corporations can run things better than government entities. It's all illogical, of course to anyone with the remnants of a thinking brain; those not hallucinating on one of Big-Pharma's "solutions".The American public is living in financial pain and want relief. Consider your choices well; choosing not to vote is a choice with severe side-effects and you should understand that they may result in the death of our democracy.
