In neoconservative parlance peace means war and prosperity inequality. Neoconservatives' policies brought deaths and desolation to many around the world and benefited a handful of people. The tension they created between the United States and Russia may lead to nuclear war due to a mistaken interpretation of a glitch on an American or Russian computer screen. Their blind belief in laissez-faire economics ruined many families in the United States, creating a deep resentment among a large segment of the population. Donald Trump rode on this feeling and won the presidential election. He is a populist without a rational and fair plan to right the wrongs. With his prescription, the American patient will die healthy. For their own sake and the sake of the world, Americans must reject both the suicidal neoconservatives' policies and Trump's "Make America Great Again" illusion. Instead, they must resurrect the spirit of 1776 and Abraham Lincoln's Gettysburg Address. Only then, will the sky clear again and the people dream.
