What we need is some way to bring these politicians who continue to allow the sale and possession of deadly assault weapons, bump stocks and high capacity magazines that are slaughtering our children to their knees and make them understand that they are now prime targets for removal.
Those politicians or other Americans who watch as our children are gunned down by these killing machines time and again and then fight against banning them so no one in America can ever again legally purchase them, are the dregs of society, the scum that is found at the bottom of a barrel.
Here's one way that could bring about this forced change. Starting with Parkland, school officials, students and others who are enraged about what happened to those kids need to identify every politician in the Florida legislature that is known to be obstructing attempts to initiate a variety of gun control measures, including the total ban of all assault weaponry.
Then with the collaboration of many news organizations there should be a rogues gallery prepared that shows photos of these politicians, their names, and the districts that they represent. The gallery should indicate that these are the politicians that are refusing to take measures to stop this carnage. Those names and faces should be shown in newscasts time and time again until these politicians become pariahs.
We could see many other school districts across America adopting this same strategy and creating their own rogues gallery of politicians who have the blood of all the kids who have been gunned down in this current mass shooting, as well as the many that have taken place in the past.
The path to greatness lies before this nation but in order to remove the obstacles blocking it we will need to see what we might call a political and societal revolution. Of critical importance will be the removal of all Corporate money and influence from our election system. That will pave the way for a new wave of independent, uncontrolled politicians inhabiting the Congress.
We must not stop until there us a ban all assault style rifles, bump stocks, huge ammunition magazines, and associated weaponry. The legislation that was created under the Obama administration that prevented individuals who have a history of mental illness from buying guns, the legislation that Republicans killed not long ago, must be reinstated.
Once again, America has arrived at a crossroads. Taking the right road will lead this nation to greatness. Taking the other will lead to continued gridlock on key issues, will keep America going in the wrong direction, and greatness will be unattainable.
