Makes you kind of wonder if they just didn’t write it for him (remember General Petraeus’ report? Who wrote that?).
Here’s another interesting thing. In the interview with the Washington Post, McClellan mentions Richard Clarke in a favorable light as well. Well, as it just so happens, Richard Clarke has a new book out himself called “How the Administration Failed you” or something like that.
How they “failed” us? Not, how they LIED and MISLEAD us on purpose, but rather, how they “failed” us. An important distinction, legally speaking. Also, not bad timing in the run-up to the election. Give people time to put out the notion that the administration is simply a bumbling cast of misguided stooges, rather than what they really are; a devious collection of manipulative zealots whose actions border on treason.
And the majority of the left-wing blog-o-sphere is eating it up.
