The SI article concludes by sampling some of the diversity of ideas, sometimes contradictory, within the 9/11 Truth movement. These contradictions are supposed to discredit the movement as a whole. But the point is that there has been no credible inquiry into 9/11, and until the facts are uncovered, it is entirely appropriate that a multiplicity of diverse hypotheses should be put forth and discussed. SI has been on the side of open inquiry so often in the past; why, in this case should the group go on record seeking to shut off debate?
I would not denounce the SI article because it contains errors; rather, it belongs in the public domain as part of a vibrant and open scientific debate - - the best way to determine the truth about 9/11.
The proper subject of this Tenth Anniversary retrospective ought to be a call for open and independent investigation, so that the diverse tools and brains of science can be recruited for illumination of the defining political event of the last decade.
