Opportunity
costs? God forbid we talk about casualties. But it's a start, right Thomas?
Now all we
have to do is reach, then convince, the walking dead, those shuffling hordes of
consumers, fortunate to have never seen, much less endured a now all too common
dystopian aftermath resulting from a US "Free the F**k Out of You" foreign
policy move, and too detached to even pick a side. The rest of us, or at least
what's left of the peace movement since Obama swore to uphold his abridged version
of the Constitution, don't need to feel like we are outside screaming in the
wind again - alone.
UPDATE: According to Truthout
at least 188 Members of the House of Representatives, including 69 Democrats,
have done at least one of the following things in the last few days: (1) signed a letter initiated by California Democrat
Barbara Lee saying that there must be Congressional debate and vote before war
with Syria; (2) signed a letter initiated by Virginia Republican
Scott Rigell saying that there must be Congressional debate and vote before war
with Syria (3) issued a statement calling for a Congressional debate and vote
before war with Syria.
And
Thomas is no longer returning my calls.
