Wednesday's Update
Dr. Paul's office was correct. The language of S. 510 is contained in an Amendent to an Amendment whch is currently before the House Rules Committee. Scroll down and down and down in the 423 page amendment and there will find the worst of S. 510 under a new name. Foundation Trustee Ralph Fucetola in in DC today to speak with leaders in the House about this vitally important issue. With him are others who know that pushback is effective - but that the push back MUST be massive.
Tuesday's Update
Dr. Paul's office says there is a chance that a House substitute for S.510 will be considered today.
Monday's Message
Sen. Coburn's Office: "As far as we know there may be an attempt to insert the Senate bill language [S. 510] into a "must pass" bill (such as a budget bill in the House) and send that back to the Senate... if it is returned as as a stand-alone bill, there is probably not enough time to debate and pass it this session, but if it is part of another, already scheduled bill, we don't know what will happen."
