I only mention this now to ask those who are jumping all over Obama to back off – not for good --- just for a while. Give the guy six months in office. Then do and say what you will. Every President needs and deserves a critical peanut gallary.
But to be jumping all over Obama before he even takes the oath of office is stupid and self-defeating. It's like the abused dog that now bites every hand that reaches out to him, even in kindness. That dog may keep potential abusers at bay, but he also forecloses on any chance of finding what he really needs and deserves.
So just calm the hell down out there for a bit. And stop sending me those kind of emails until you are operating on something more than your Bush-inspired paranoia and damaged nervous systems.

Obama is not perfect. But he is also not Bush --or Clinton. And thank goodness for that.
