The Mothers Act would force all new mothers to submit to mandatory mental health screening for a psychiatric disorder that was voted into existence. The health risks, including a high rate of death, caused by the antidepressant drugs the screening will often lead to, are no concern to those in government who are financially tied to the high-paying pharmaceutical industry.
