Goldberg's article reports,
"Wednesday, after Axios reported that Trump was "obsessed" with Amazon, the company lost $53 billion in market value. In the wake of Trump's tweets on Monday, Amazon's stock fell more than 5 percent."
Of course the Washington Post is not alone. Trump has waged a massive war against "fake media," focusing on CNN, NBC, MSNBC and more. The five percent hit Amazon took after Trump's latest attacks is the tip of a very big iceberg that includes the CIA.
Now I have a love-hate relationship with Amazon and I'm certainly no fan of the CIA with its massive abuses of American privacy rights. But we're seeing a fascist threat to democracy like we've not seen since the McCarthy era.
And speaking of icebergs, it's not just about threats to the media or government agencies Trump finds offensive. I am one hundred percent certain that all the Trump abuses and predations that the media are reporting represent only a tiny fraction of what Trump and his sycophant appointees are perpetrating upon the American people and the world.
The Amazon story is just one example. Trump is the most malignant, most megalomaniacal, most dangerous threat to face the planet in over 80 years.
