Eight Requirements for Conquering the World

The ruling elite of a world-conquering nation controls the government though laws, fear, bribery, corruption, elections by money, and dependency. It controls the judicial system in order to be above the law. It claims to be "exceptional," so as to be immune to laws that govern criminal activities like crimes against humanity. It pardons comrades from prison sentences.

Most Americans are directly or indirectly dependent upon money from the government. Besides the obvious beneficiaries, such as the military, contractors, suppliers, civil servants, social security recipients, welfare recipients, and subsidized industries like gas and oil, there are many others whose incomes depend on the spending of people who receive government money.

There are two main ways of controlling a populous. One is socialism (Democrats, Communism), where the elite can dictate work and take away livelihoods; the other is corporatism, where the workers have no rights and are literally slaves (Republicans, Dictators). The object of both means of control is to satisfy the One Percent and provide the minimum benefits needed to keep the slaves working.

Requirement No. 7: Control of the Secret Services

A world conqueror needs to eliminate opposing leaders, domestic and foreign. It needs to keep detailed communication files on everyone, so it has the evidence at its disposal whenever it's needed to blackmail or round up potential dissenters. Those who say they have nothing to hide may get the surprise of their lives one of these days. You can't stand up to a power that is at once judge, jury, and executioner--as it has already shown with the killing of citizens and foreigners with drones.

Requirement No. 8: Controlling the Populous through Fear

A nation with the power to conquer the world must control its workers by making them fearful of losing their job or status, going to prison, or being killed. With respect to the general citizenry, fostering fear of an outside enemy has been used forever to create a blind following. The population can also be divided. By promoting prejudice toward people of other religions, color, sex, culture, etc., the controllers can divert the anger of the people from themselves to one another.

Do these eight requirements for controlling the world remind you of any country in particular?
