casualties, dispassionately calling the deaths, "one of our greatest
strategic vulnerabilities. Gates, as staff of National Security
Council and CIA was in on the secret covert attack ordered by Carter, in July,
1979, that brought in the Russians, which in the course of subsequent
related events would also bring in the Americans.
All in all this makes thirty years of death and destruction in what was
formerly was known throughout history as a romantic country of mountains and mysticism. Just one of many brutal changes in
ancient cultures wrought by the murderous foreign policies of the world dominating dangerous superpower, a nation only two hundred and fifty-three years young.
According to Gen. McChrystal, fixing this problem of the repeated,
inadvertent killing and maiming of civilians will require an expanded
presence of American forces in order to reduce the need for deadly air
strikes. He has requested more than the additional twenty-one plus
thirteen thousand already sent this year. (More cultural change coming.)
The 2009 Nobel Peace Prize jury, seeing fit to overlook
Commander-in-Chief Obama's ordered homicide in Afghanistan, Pakistan
and Somalia is quite in line with the 2002 Nobel Peace Prize jury
overlooking the then known fact that as Commander-in-Chief Jimmy
Carter had ordered CIA to engulf Afghanistan in civil war.
If Jimmy Carter would publicly explain his sacrificing Afghan lives
back in 1979 as part of the Cold War, it might help Obama extricate
himself and his nation from continuing to take any more Afghan lives in the
name of the war with al Qaeda - be nice for Obama, if this could
happen before he gives his November acceptance speech in Stockholm.
