Therefore the immediate task of this revolutionary movement is to form a vanguard party that speaks with one voice and directs the process of the uprising and bring it to its logical conclusion. Simultaneously, this party, made up of a wide cross-section of workers, farmers, peasants, and the progressive sections of white and blue collar labor force, must present a clear and unambiguous plan of action for the way forward while coordinating and organizing the mass protests nationwide.
This is important so that a pseudo-progressive element of the ruling class, disguised as members of the anti-Mubarak sections of the revolution, does not usurp the movement, contaminate it, and undermine it from within. In the coming weeks Egypt will reach a tipping point as this new stage of the struggle against an entrenched dictatorship has already been set with violence as the main actor.
