In the 3D world things are acted upon from without and have no volition of their own. When a complex thing like a human being acts like a billiard ball that has been hit and rebounds we call that evil because a human was supposed to be able to do better than that. Someone hits you so you respond and hit back like a ball hit and bouncing off of a surface and coming back to retaliate. Acting like that reveals one is caught in one's behavior in a realm of crude justice with no forgiveness. Much of the human race acts like this. We are injured so we retaliate. We react rather than act on our own. That is behavior trapped in the 3D universe and not rising above it. Causation and justice are closely related and forgiveness is of another realm.
Furthermore there is a problem with 3D physics. It works well when we are talking of very simple processes and it is all but useless in multi-factorial situations. Many things are multi-factorial so much so that it is almost impossible to determine exactly what cause and effect is. One is left with a guess that must be partly intuitive. Many things are not linear-causal but circular-causal. For instance I have witnessed many situations where fear produced what the fear was trying to prevent. And greed can produce the shortages it fears as we see in our current oil spill.
And when you look at nuclear reactions in a bubble chamber or at the art of someone who is inspired to draw something of the 4D world you see spirals and circular stuff.
It is important that humans do not think of themselves as beings stuck in a Newtonian 3D science universe. We are creatures greater than that. We are capable of the miraculous and not simply reacting but acting with free will and it is an everyday thing. We are a part of this 3D realm and we are part angels. We can rise above this plane of existence. We have always had religion to tell us this and it did not specify that there was a 4D realm within us that enabled it. It was not religion's burden to explain all that. It is not necessary to know any scientific explanations as to how and why we can rise above the scientific realm of 3D we live in. But we have always sensed it and so we made religion. It is good.
And now that science has discovered a realm that transcends the one we are in by outward appearances we can rise higher yet in our understanding. We can realize that when the science of the former centuries was crowned king and we threw religion out we did it at our own peril. But then it was also true that religion had become extremely corrupt. Sure many people have abused religion. But it is not in and of itself a bad thing. If you call religious sentiment bad you are over-generalizing. And if you do not see that science has recently self-transcended its old take on things then you have not yet learned of the latest findings of science.
The science of 3D is a mechanistic science and studies a crude 3D force-oriented lower realm of the universe. If you think all is controlled by such forces you have allowed yourself to be a believer in almost satanic forces. And your judgments will be rather boring and mechanistic and force-oriented. You will in fact become more judgmental than a good old bible-waving fundamentalist fanatic.
The map is not the territory. And left brained and scientific labeling and thought dissection of pieces parts, missing the spiritual element that hides within, in the newly discovered fourth dimension, is crude thinking. And most of the western world does it most of the time. And that is a good deal of the reason this western world culture is so materialistic and so dead. If you talk about the old system and analyze it ad infinitum with good old left brain labeling you are essentially still stuck in the old system and not doing anything creative to get a new one. Yes we still need to do that but we also need to do more.
So when I get spiritual in my ways of talking and people think I am like a bible waving fanatic I just yawn and say to myself "Oh here we go again". That kind of thinking is the very source of the dead culture that opednews and many another effort is trying so hard to transcend. You can not go to a new culture with the kind of thinking that created the old culture and nothing more.
And yes the new culture is going to include a belief in the miraculous but it will not include that old finger-wagging, "big-daddy-in- the-sky", witch-burning, "rape-the-natives-and-the-third-world-and-the-environment" stuff, that bible waving Christians fundamentalists are so good at. And that makes all the difference.
You see those people were told to believe in the miraculous but they freaked out. They did not fully believe it so they decided that "miraculous" belonged to only them and that way they could use the old force-oriented stuff on everybody else. They were hypocrites. The new science of the fourth dimension finds the miraculous as an everyday phenomenon sitting right here in the middle of this 3D world. The miraculous is ordinary. In fact the most ubiquitous thing of all is that which underlies all and is the essence of all and is all. The most ordinary thing in the world is God. Contrary to popular opinion that thinks Him an aloof elitist b*stard that judges and condemns and hurls down fire and brimstone on some and spares others, he is rather a good old guy. That elitist stuff is human behavior. That is to be more exact the behavior of elitist power mad empire and patriarchal civilization. One hardly needs to believe in patriarchal civilization and its attempt at owning of all religious and scientific knowledge and spiritual wisdom to believe in magic. Both science and religion are fine. But when you make them strictly patriarchal then the trouble begins. And the abuse of both religion and now science in patriarchy makes the magical elements of both of them sound hokey and fake.
It would be a great help if we did not allow ourselves to be divided by something as antiquated as old Newtonian physics and science and old religion. People like Alan Watts and the mysticism of the east and the age of quantum physics has given us the tools we need to think more comprehensively and not be at odds with each other over superficial things. The new culture is at the periphery but most seem unaware of it or at least do not know how to use it in how they think.
