Ban Cars not Assault Rifles

How long will people hide their heads in the fallacy of "gun free zones"?  What is being created are zones where trained and licensed individuals are disarmed.  There was not a policy like this in Pearl, Mississippi, when in October 1997 the assistant principle retrieved his .45 caliber handgun from his vehicle and stopped a shooting.  So we really need to think what really works before we kill more of our kids.

And stop blaming inanimate objects (at the control of individuals who are not legally allowed to possess them in the first place) for the problems of this world.  This applies to drunk drivers and spree killers alike.  Get mad as hell at the system that lets madmen run around and threaten each and every one of us.  And I will talk about getting rid of my assault rifles, when everyone else is ready to get rid of the bigger killer, cars.
