In the long run, the combination of China, Russia and Iran holds the winning hand in this geopolitical struggle. If Russia's finds itself backed against the wall by the U.S. military, then it can bring America's allies in Europe to their knees by cutting off exports of badly needed supplies of natural gas. If Iran is put into that same position it can cut off all petroleum exports to these same European countries, bringing massive damage to their economies. And if China gets to the point where it can no longer tolerate the U.S. escalating military threats then it can and will pull the plug on any further loans and investments in U.S. securities, sending this nation into a financial tailspin.
As this situation involving a potential deadly military confrontation with China escalates here's something that is almost beyond comprehension. An increasing number of reports indicate that almost all U.S. defense contractors outsource critical electronic parts to China and many other nations with low labor costs. Apparently what's happening is that many of these nations that receive these contracts have been, in turn, illegally outsourcing them to Chinese manufacturers. The Senate Armed Services Committee has determined that counterfeit imported electronics parts have been being used in major U.S. military systems for years. In one case, over 70% of critical parts for military aircraft and even anti-ballistic missiles supposedly imported from trusted overseas nations have been traced back to Chinese manufacturers.
This government is allowing itself to be totally dependent upon obtaining components for its most sensitive weapons systems from sources around the world when those components could easily have been tampered with by Chinese intelligence. Current and former intelligence experts are warning that many of these microchips have included malware that would allow the Chinese military to infect American weapons systems on command. This is unbelievable; as one element of this government, the U.S. military, plans to aggressively confront China, other elements have given China one more "weapon" that it can use to wreak havoc with this very plan. Should we consider this to be a case of gross incompetence or just plain stupidity?
While China and Russia are not natural, close allies this relationship is going to greatly strengthen as these two nations feel a mutual, growing threat by U.S. military power. If this overall situation becomes more and more tenuous and these two world powers band together militarily against America then a great potential exists for a massive world conflict that could easily spiral out of control.
China , along with Russia and Iran, are conducting mutual trade using their own currencies in their overall plan to end the U.S. dollar's reign as the world's main reserve currency. This cooperative effort is rapidly gaining momentum as numerous other countries are also beginning to use their own currencies in transactions involving petroleum and other commodities. These nations and a growing number of others know that, if they can orchestrate the demise of the dollar, America's financial foundations will take a monumental hit and the funding of its military will have to be drastically curtailed. That's kind of like winning a war without even firing a shot.
Apparently, someone needs to bring a team of psychoanalysts into Washington D.C. to put the proliferators of war through a battery of intensive psychological tests to determine the level of their sanity or, rather, their level of insanity. When you have experienced a string of successive military failures, in cases where military force should never have been used, one would think that you would see the total futility of what you're doing; that the direction in which you are proceeding in attempting to dominate and control the world is completely faulted and is destined for complete failure.
Is it any wonder why the American people seem to be in such a state of fear and apprehension about the future? They are watching a government that seems to have lost its compass and is recklessly careening around the world engaging in one military action after another. This government is turning America into nothing more than a gigantic military machine. Nothing of any substance that involves creation, innovation, rebuilding, restoring or the development of any positive, constructive initiatives ever gets done. America has now become a nation where military hubris and hegemony reign supreme; a nation that is quickly establishing itself as a predator nation.
There are millions of people in America that plainly see how America is in the process of self-destruction and they should be screaming at the top of their lungs, "Stop this roller coaster, I want to get off." But they are finding out that there is no way that they can get off, that they are stuck in a massive hole that gets deeper and deeper as this government refuses to stop digging. The people of America must feel like they are on the deck of the USS Titanic that is rapidly taking on water and beginning to sink but, try as they might, they can't find the lifeboats by which to save themselves.
