The metric becomes the target rather than a measurement, and user experience often suffers.   Vile decisions will be made to set your preferences to default values — more lucrative values — in a health record system. Vile decisions will be made to compromise your safety, your privacy, or your well-being.These vile and unethical decisions are made daily in corporations around the world.
