Under 35 52% for Bernie! Millennials vs Boomers Divides Party; Young Left is Effectively a 3rd Party

Quinnipiac Poll Voters under 35 are 52% for Bernie Sanders, 17% Warren, etc. 

'This is only the halfway point of an epochal change in Western politics ,” Keir Milburn says. The far right has responded with calls for xenophobic nationalism to preserve national identity,; Left has responded with social democracy calls to restore economic justice. “I must admit that the far right is ascendant; they’ve given up on the future. The young left identified that the future of adulthood no longer feels viable, and it’s putting together a different vision.” The young progressive movement will have to shed its 1st adjective to gain power. In 2016, voters older than 40 accounted for nearly three-fifths of all primary voters. It is impossible to win a national election by running a campaign of generational warfare that indicts a majority of the elect. America’s third party will have to grow up.
