Pakistan’s prime minister served up some bitter truths during an interview with MSNBC, noting that US taxpayer dollars would have been better spent on fixing America’s infrastructure, as opposed to squandering them in Afghanistan.

Of course with Afghanistan having 90% of the World's opium poppy someone has been making huge profits. Wouldn't be the CIA, would it?

The PM misses the real deal. I would bet that he is engaged in a bit of waste himself. Still the truth, hurts. Mofo.

The US government is not owned by the people-you already know this Dennis. Therefore what the government borrows and spends it does so at the behest of its owners, not its people. In this sense, the billions spent in Afghanistan were not "wasted" as far as the elites are concerned, the billions spent went directly into their pockets, even as they used the tool of government to borrow the money to pay themselves.

We need to stop internalizing occurrences such as the war on terror, on Iraq, Libya, etc., as blunders and a waste as though they were the peoples choice. Ultimately of course a politically conscious people would have launched the ruling elites into space by now. There is still time. For the elites these so called blunders and waste were purposefully created to provide a return on their investments in war and chaos.

Hear that sucking sound? That's the peoples blood being sucked dry from the public treasury. The elites high polluting world conferences are sending forth instructions to governments, media, private armies and pr firms their latest reworked mantra of promoting private/public partnerships, which is a pretext to steal public investments, toll roads, school buildings, social security, medicare, the VA, US Postal Services, all regulatory entities. It is also a dog whistle to help the other thieves who may be haphazardly plundering to focus their attention on the next theft that is underway - to get a clue and join in on the looting.

This is nothing new. The IMF and WB have perfected the art of using corrupt leaders to give away the peoples stuff to the low life ruling elites...bring it on home.
