Systemic Racism Rears It's Ugly Head in Texas Senate Campaign

A black grandmother accompanied by her two grandchildren while campaigning for Texas Senate candidate Beto O'Rourke was told by a white male to go back where she came from.

Canvassing local neighborhoods on behalf of a politician is an American tradition.

Compounding the increased "overt racism" we have witnessed over the past two years is the rancid underbelly and largely "unvoiced" opinions of the Trump Administration.

The cowardice of the Republican Congress to speak out against President Trump and his condoning of an attitude that promotes racism is inexcusable.

Please think about this as you cast your vote in the mid-term elections!
