In a rare personal comment on the Sergei Skripal scandal, Russian President Vladimir Putin lambasted the former double agent as a “traitor” and “scum.” The sooner the media noise around Skripal ends, the better, Putin said. [If the U.S. 'officials' exhibited half the sense, restraint, and intelligence that Putin regularly displays, I'd be truly delighted.]

Now that Putin has said that, we can probably expect a huge rebirth of the propaganda coming from the U.S. and Britain. Personally, I think he's made a blunder here.
