G.O.P. leaders are attacking President Biden for what they call a weak response to Russian aggression, but their far-right flank is questioning U.S. involvement, and even its alliance with Kyiv.

Also, Putin accuses Kyiv of failing to live up to the Minsk agreements of 2014.

It's not even clear many Ukraine residents care or would be worse off if Russia invaded.

American is the most militarized, most feared, nation on Earth. Ukraine is just fostering old habits to keep it that way.
