F.C.C. Repeals Net Neutrality Rules~~~NY Times and Representative Ro Khanna Weigh In

Khanna: “Chairman Pai needs to cease his endless assault on internet freedom and net neutrality. This proposal would concentrate power to a handful of internet service providers and hinder innovation for both startups and consumers. FCC commissioners should keep the current legal framework that guarantees a free and open internet.'

'As the congressman from Silicon Valley, I’m deeply dismayed by today’s FCC action to repeal net neutrality. The effort was led by Trump-nominated Chairman Ajit Pai, who recently joked about being a “Verizon puppet” at a party with major telecoms.

The fight turns to Congress; signs of hope: Rep. Mike Coffman, are stepping up to say this isn’t right; new poll showed more than 83% of Americans support maintaining the FCC rules.

We need a Congress that’s ready to correct the FCC’s mistake. I’ll never stop leading the fight for an open and vibrant web.'
