New research shows how rising temperatures have irreversibly altered both the Arctic and Antarctic. Ripple effects will be felt around the globe.

The Thwaites Glacier in particular has shown new signs of 3-5 year collapse, according to new reports, potentially raising sea levels by 2' alone. For those who thought sea level rise would just be their grandchildren's problem, maybe not.
