The livelihoods of tens of millions of people living in the lower Mekong would be as well, because of the loss of water, fish and sediment that helps produce the fertile soil and abundant crop — especially rice — they depend on.

The Chinese are also choking to death in their cities, so one might praise them for the clean power initiative; on the other hand they tend to act as if nobody else matters. Situations like the baby formula factory that was faking the protein content of its product, along with pet food and toothpaste adulteration which led to the deaths of babies suggests there's a screw loose in their morality structure.
