There have been several articles posted about the anger and depression affecting many of us in the current political morass. Lots of both, but no effective solutions are offered.
Most of us seem to be waiting for the white knight who can lead us out of this dead-end. Or, better yet, a spontaneous uprising to knock over the tables in the Gambling Den of Washington and replace them with a new, New Deal.
With all my anger, I am no better than most of us.
This article doesn't provide a solution. Instead, it it offers knowledge, in Review of Pankaj Mishra's book: The Age of Anger: A History of the Present. The reviewer doesn't promise an easy romp thru a throw-away self-help book, BTW.
He does hold out the hope of reaching an understanding of the problem - Which might lead to a logical solution to the conundrum of: Where are we going; How do we get there?
