It is with great sadness that I am placing this site up for sale, however, the economy and illnesses and injury within my family has taken it toll and in the best interests of my family - it has become evident that the sale of this site is most likely the only way we can survive. I am not a quitter, and while I’d rather stay in the fight for our freedom, a mother with cancer, a sister with a crushed ankle and also needing knee surgery has placed a burden upon us that seems to be insurmountable. Other illnesses and issues continue to plague us on a regular basis, and while I believe most of it due to bad luck, there are other issues that are suspect - but without substantiating evidence, that’s all they are - suspect.
For a Liberal/Progressive writer, or group of writers - Justanothercoverup is a great venue for advertising, although I admit I haven’t a clue as to “what” should be advertised, and in that endeavor I have been a miserable flop. I haven’t mastered Adsense and have never been able to manipulate what appears on my site, and the other advertisements are those I thought may have been worthwhile - but they aren’t, and that can only be attributed to my lack of skill in choosing the right products to advertise on this site. Traffic has never been the problem - but choosing the right products has, and since I recognize that advertising is not my forte’, it seems the only alternative is to offer the site for sale.
As of today, Technorati rates Justanothercoverup with a Rank of 66,349 and an “Authority” of 120, not bad for what has essentially been a single-author Blog. In the last twelve months, according to two internal programs within BlueHost.com that hosts us, these are the past traffic figure for the previous year: (All of the below stats are those which appear in today’s figures.)

From January 1, 2008 until today, there are the stats:

Number of Visits: 115,115
Pages Viewed: 260,204
Total “Hits”: 2,045,226
Bandwidth: 25.32 GB
Because of the above personal issues I listed, since 4-30-08, the amount of writing has been minimal and I personally published only two articles in that time period, however, even though there wasn’t much writing, since that date, there is still a constant flow of traffic, albeit not as high as when I am actively writing. During that time period when I was essentially dormant without publishing anything of real substance, Justanothercoverup still received 5,488 unique visitors who visited the site 10,727 times and accessed 28,619 individual pages. So far during May, we have received 139,154 “hits” with a total Bandwidth of 1.60 GB.
Justanothercoverup is linked to some of the most well-known Progressive and Liberal sites on the Internet, and due the the enormous amount of archived content, is accessed on a daily basis whether I have the time to write or not. As an example, the article Now We Know Why There’s A Press Blackout On S 1959 - It’s Called “ENDGAME” By DHS, has been read 15,603 times from another internal counting program I installed only a couple of month ago - and had to be reset when I crashed the site when I upgraded to WordPress 2.5 two months ago. Another individual article, Evidence Supports Reverend Wright’s Claim That AIDS Was Created By The Government has been read 11,026 times in the same time period.
In short, if you are a Liberal/Progressive writer, or even a group of people that wish to have your voices heard, this site has been in operation over three (3) years and has an excellent traffic base. If you know “what” products to advertise, it is an excellent base to generate revenue - even though I admit I have never understood the ins and outs of advertising on the Internet.

Further, this site is not for sale to anyone affiliated with the GOP, and while I cannot guarantee that someone will purchase it under false pretenses in an effort to stop the flow of information from several articles that are read on a daily basis that affect our freedom and liberty, please be advised that I will do my best to see that this site remains open. If it does not sell for a reasonable price, it is not in danger of being closed-down, however, my ability to continue to write with all of the upcoming Dr. appointments and other issues that take our time and money, my participation as far as keeping up a constant flow of new articles will remain extremely limited - but the site will not close if it doesn’t sell.
I would also like to take the time to thank the support of those who have made this site a success. I had many projects planned, however, family has to come first, and while I fail to understand how so many issues could affect one family unit, that’s simply life and something that we are doing our best to cope with. One thing is certain - when I write about the economy and the impact to those on fixed incomes and the poor and disadvantaged in America, is isn’t through speculation, but rather reflects the first-hand experience that my family has suffered through as we watch everything increase in price as wages go down or otherwise remain stagnant.
I am submitting this brief article to Op-Ed News and ask the Editorial Staff to consider placing it as a “Diary Entry”; Yes, I am aware that it’s an advertisement, one that I don’t wish to resort to, but it is also a testimony as to how bad this economy really is, and I fear that other Liberal/Progressive writer are suffering as we are - and that is a danger to the entire community that has been fighting for a return to our constitutional values and the rule of law.
