Currently, the oil companies are not drilling in the many offshore sites available to them because there is not enough profit in it. And, we all know the oil companies desire ever-increasing huge profit margins.
If McCain were successful in his quest to release more offshore drilling sites for the oil companies, the question becomes how could he get them to drill? In the Republican world, business tells government what to do, not the other way around. This is Republican Fascism.
Obviously, the offshore drilling issue is just another phony Republican red herring designed to bamboozle uninformed, gullible voters.
