Impeachment
I believe impeachment is necessary to stop Bush's action from becoming presidential precedent. It's been curious for years why the Dems have not intervened, particularly since January 20, 2007 when the Congress was seated.
Why would Pelosi, the first chance she got to address this, say, "Impeachment is off the table"? Wouldn't she, at the very least, use that as leverage against the president to pass one Democrat initative after the next? Like, "Mr. President, I guess I have the mandate you always like to brag about, and the people want blood. All I want is to railroad through these 12 bills, with your approval and signature, and I guess that will make me too busy to discuss the possibility of impeachment."
But no, she got dealt pocket Aces and threw the hand in. If you ask me, the people need an answer to this, as much as we need this president, this vice-president, and this Repugnant party out of power.
