Hopper was also a collector and creator of modern art, with the latter including his own remarkable black and white photographs.
The man was born in 1936 and passed in 2010, may he rest in peace. He always grated on my nerves on the silver screen, but I started cutting him a lot of slack when I found out about his art creation/appreciation a couple of years ago.
