It's Easy to Add Images To Your Articles; Here's How.

It's usually a good idea to get your images ready ahead of time. They should be under 100 K in size. ALso, please keep them under 640 pixels wide.

Start by clicking on the ARTICLE TAB
click on SUBMIT ARTICLE
click on the white MEDIA SUBMIT button.
click on UPLOAD IMAGE
Click on the BROWSE BUTTON. Browse to the directory and file you want to upload. Select the file.
If you want, add an optional caption.
Give the the file a short name tag: just letters and numbers, shorter is better-- joe1, for example.

Once you've picked the file, tagged it and if, you've chosen, given it a caption, then click the UPLOAD button.

That puts the image into the website system. You'll see it listed in your image control panel. If you want to change anything, click on the modify button for the image.

When you are finished uploading images to the the website, click on the FINISHED button. That will close the image upload interface.

The rest is easy.

You should be back at your article submission page. Be careful if you've taken a long time that you don't lose what you put in the text box. I suggest you copy what you have in your text box and do a preview, to see if you have timed out, if it's been more than a few minutes.

Once you're sure you aren't going to time out, choose where you want the image to appear in your article.

Create a double bracketed "box" that looks like this:

Then, type the tag you gave for the image you want in that position.



That's it. The image should appear in the article if you've uploaded it so you can see it in the image management control panel and have used the exact tag name you assigned it.
